Organised in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry of Defence and Bitkom, the roundtable will bring together members of the DIGITALEUROPE Defence Executive Council, NATO and national military Chief Information Officers (CIOs), senior institutional stakeholders and leading industry representatives. The discussion will focus on how digital and software-enabled capabilities are reshaping military capability development, operational superiority and defence resilience, with the following objectives:
🔷 Develop Top-10 procurement principles for applying SDD across Europe and the Alliance.
🔷 Define key SDD capability principles and showcase operational and industrial use cases.
🔷Identify practical barriers and solutions that slow the deployment and scaling of software-enabled defence capabilities.
When: 23 November 2026, 13:00 - 17:00 CET, followed by an industry capability showcase and networking reception
Format: Institutional keynotes, followed by a roundtable and an industry capability showcase
